Take a look at the photo to the left. See the little alien bug on the girl agents shoulder? He is a special effects character added to the template. He can be moved around and placed anywhere in the photo.

Now look at the Presidential Inauguration photo. We didn't actually have Bacack and Michelle at our event. They were added as a special effect.

The genie in the Arabian Night Themed template is also a special effects item that can be moved around anywhere we want or taken out

In the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Band album cover shot, the drum is in front of the girls- putting them more in the album cover photo.

Finally, in the last two photos below, there are logos, text and graphics that can be dominate or be very subtle. A Magazine cover is a popular format and needs to bold and interesting. In our Shire sample, taken in San Diego, their logo is simple but distinct and shows the sponsor's name prominently but subtle.

SUBMITTING IMAGES FOR TEMPLATES

If you are going to supply us with the background images it is best to send them to us in JPG format of at least 600kb size (for 5x7 and smaller) and not any bigger than 3 mb. If you are also going to supply the graphic overlays (like the special effects shown on this page) then we need them in a photoshop PSD format on a transparent layer. Unless you have very specific graphics that are designed by your graphics department and want these to be used for your special template, we can usually design and create your template for you. We have access to a graphic image supply house and can usually get any type of image you want. Images that you get from the internet may be copyrighted or trademarked images, so be careful.
